A fantastic family day out

Once again Popham will be hosting its annual model show where families, enthusiasts and professional flyers come together to see the most thrilling model flying show in the south of England.

There will also be a static display under cover in the main marquee, as well as demonstration and 'have-a-go' model cars, military vehicles, boats and more. We'll have a bring and buy and FPV workshops alongside a range of event traders and of course our catering village, offering a selection of food and drink.

Information for pilots

The airfield will close its main runways for model flying off runway 21/03 and a NOTAM will be issued to close the airfield for the duration of the model flying.

If you are a pilot and interested in participating, then you will need to get in touch as soon as the flight schedule is open for entries (no event admission fee for pilots). Once again we invite entries from fixed wing - electric, ICE and turbine - gliders, rotary aircraft and FPV, with a full programme of flying over the weekend.
