Thruxton: Taxi Challenge

After vacating the active runway onto the apron, competitors will be directed to a passage control where pilots are required to pass as closely as possible with their starboard wingtip to a frangible obstacle. The closer the pass, the higher the score.

Popham: Spot Landing Competition

Landing on the numbers of the active runway will result in a maximum score. Observers will measure short or long landings, reducing the score accordingly.

Solent: Timed Landing Competition

Entering a declared landing time into the Triple Challenge WhatsApp Group before take-off from the preceding airfield. Solent Airport will record the landing time (touchdown) and award scores accordingly.

Participants (pilots) must be PIC and land at each airfield - Thruxton (EGHO), Popham (EGHP) and Solent (EGHF) - once over the two-day period. Competitors may begin their entry point from any location within the UK and visit any airfield in any order of convenience during the 10:00 - 16:00 time window. Movements outside of these times will be excluded from the results.
