STOL UK's inaugural event and the opening round of the STOL UK Championship

What is STOL?

The weekend showcases Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) flying, featuring bush planes and specialist aircraft demonstrating extreme slow-flight handling, short ground rolls, and precision spot landings.

About STOL UK

Founded in 2024, STOL UK is a not-for-profit airsports organisation dedicated to creating standardised guidance, safety protocols, and competition rules for airfields hosting STOL events across the United Kingdom. Developed in consultation with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), peer organisations, and National STOL in the United States, these frameworks ensure consistent operational safety and event management across the growing discipline.
